Science Fayre 2025
The BSB Science Fayre occurred on 26th May this year during the afternoon. Our pupils, ranging from all of primary to our oldest secondary students, participated in this exciting event as it was Science Week! We had lots of incredible and innovative experiments that were in the lab, corridor and assembly area. In the course of the afternoon, parents, teachers and students were able to interact and learn with cool dioramas and demonstrations made by the pupils.
We had some very fascinating experiments, involving many volcanoes, hydroelectric energy dioramas, an electric maze, magnetic animals, gummy bear osmosis and many more! We even had some entries that involved food that let us sample some of it, such as the investigation about how missing ingredients in cookies affected them and edible water (ooho). We also had interactive experiments where people could hold bubbles of steam, listen to music produced by energy from vegetables, see optical illusions, test out a smart cane that detected walls, etc.
This year’s Science Fayre was certainly an exciting one that had so many entries we couldn’t even list them all! It led to lots of fun for everybody involved and people learned a lot with these amazing projects! We give a huge congratulations to all the pupils who participated and hope that 2026’s fayre is just as memorable as this one!
